A Day at the Fair!

This was our first year attending the Lamoille County Fair. We had heard that they had animals and a train, so we figured we would take Gabbie and see what it was all about.

It was really more a craft fair with lots of booths selling crafty items. They also had a lot of food booths. We didn't know this and had a big breakfast prior to going, so we settled for an ice cream cone --
Gabbies first!

She liked it!

We were a little surprised to find that the train was only suitable for little kids. We thought it would be something we could ride with her.

We debated and decided that we would give it a go. We weren't sure if she would like it or try and climb out.

She loved it!
And rode it twice. She would have ridden it all day, had we let her!
Here she is below. I don't know how well you can see the smile on her face, but she was loving the train! She is getting so big and grown up!
For the record, there were no animals!
Well, except for the horses we saw walking from our car to the fair.

I also think we will go again next year!

A fair without animals.... very interesting! hehe No matter, it looks like Gabbie had a great time. Love the picture of her ice cream face and those big blue eyes. Adorable.
