Move to the Music!

Nick Jr. has little music videos between the shows called "Move to the Music". There is one that Gabbie absolutely loves and plays it over and over again. She has got the moves down pat!

When we went to Boise to see my sister and her family, Gabbie taught Paige her favorite moves and together they definitely MOVED to the music!

Oh, what fun she is!

Kiley saw this princess castle at Babies 'r Us and just had to get it for Gabbie. It stated on the box that it was for 3+ years and could hold 3 kids. Um, I am not sure what 3 year olds they are talking about because Gabbie barely fits in it all by herself.

She does love it though! If we ask if she is ready for her bath or to go upstairs, she runs and hides in her little castle. I guess it was worth the $20 bucks we spent on it!
As you can see, dad doesn't quite fit!

Gabbie is also constantly trying to get into the dog crate. Normally, we don't let her in because of the dog hair. However, due to a brand new bed that had never been slept on by the dogs ( I promise Mom! It was brand new!), we let her hang out in it.

She loved it. However, once the dogs slept in the crate, it was once again off limits.

TuTu Cute!

We got Gabbie some pj's that came with a tutu. She loves to put the tutu over any other pj's that she is wearing. I love it! I think she is TuTu Cute! Today she was wearing it with her ballerina pj's and her sun hat.

What a goof!
She now says, "Cheeeeeese!" when we put the camera in front of her! You can totally see her saying it in this pic.
Here, she is "pat, pat, pat pat" ing to help rocket...
BLAST OFF!

Hanging with her pal Dallas.

Another thing she has just started doing in the last week is asking, "Where is he?" Only she clumps it all together and asks, "Wheishe?" She will walk around with her hands up in confusion asking this all day long. Kiley went and did a bowling tournament last Sunday and all day long, Gabbie would walk around and ask me over and over again.

It is a good thing I think both she and the whole, "Wheishe?" thing is pretty cute or it could drive me nuts!

Picnic at the Park

Yesterday was a gorgeous day and we decided to take full advantage of the great weather! We headed to the park with some good friends and their granddaughter. With a quick stop by KFC, we were ready for our picnic and fun in the park.

Annie was very friendly and huggy. Gabbie was not so sure about the hugs, but definitely enjoyed playing with her!

I am sure glad we got out and played yesterday since today is cold and windy again! I am so ready for spring!

And considering Gabbie kept going to the door today and saying, "Out!" I think she is ready for spring too!

Easter Weekend

The weekend before Easter, we were out in Utah. Gabbie enjoyed hanging with her cousins while we spent time at my mom and dad's. It is so fun to be able to watch her play with the other kids. She really is getting so grown-up!

Hanging with Crandall -
what is funny is Crandall is really a second cousin. Gabbie is technically cousins with Crandall's mom, Lauren. I guess that's what happens when there is 7 kids and the older sisters get married at 19 - 23 and the other
waits until 34.

Easter weekend, we headed to Utah again.
Reading with Papa Chuck

Gabbie has really gotten in to holding things, lots of things. She loves to walk around with these cups of milk and OJ all over the house. She tucks them under her chin or anywhere else to get them where she wants to go.

See the video at the bottom to see her attempt this with her Easter Eggs...

Easter morning was spent up at Grandma Vicky's! She got her Easter Basket and hunted for more eggs!

The video below is from the night before. We hid eggs in the house and let her find them. You can see she didn't really understand the basket idea and was determined to hold all the eggs herself!

I have no idea where she gets her tenacity!!!
